Accountant – Vacation Rental Industry

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented accountant to support our vacation‑rental clients. You will work remotely with a collaborative team, handling full‑cycle accounting and delivering clear financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting for multiple clients, including AP/AR, bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and address any discrepancies.
• Perform job costing, project accounting and budget‑to‑actual analysis as required.
• Support tax compliance by preparing documentation and liaising with external tax advisors.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide actionable financial insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent written and spoken English, comfortable communicating with high‑profile clients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
• Availability 9 AM–5 PM EST, Monday‑Friday.
