Agentic Elixir Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for an Agentic Elixir Engineer to join client teams remotely across Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, using AI‑assisted tools to build and maintain high‑performance Elixir applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Elixir‑based applications and services.
• Create and expose RESTful web services and integrate third‑party APIs.
• Leverage AI engineering tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) to accelerate development.
• Prompt, review, and validate AI‑generated code to ensure quality and performance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Collaborate daily with client designers and engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contribute to internal libraries and help solve complex technical challenges.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building applications with Elixir.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted or agentic development workflows.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week and take extreme ownership of deliverables.
• Authorization to work in the country of residence on a full‑time basis.
