Analista de Seguridad Industrial y Vial – Escuintla

About the role

The Industrial and Road Safety Analyst will support the safe operation of Coca‑Cola FEMSA’s facilities in Guatemala, focusing on storage, loading and unloading processes. The role aims to foster a preventive safety culture aligned with the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System and local legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the annual Industrial and Road Safety program for the RTM area.
• Monitor safety performance across all work departments.
• Track training and competency programs.
• Assist the Industrial Safety Specialist with additional tasks as needed.
• Support ISO 45001 compliance, KORE requirements, and other internal standards.
• Ensure safety controls are applied throughout all areas and processes to minimize risk.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a similar safety role.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures, national industrial and road safety legislation, fleet management, basic environmental concepts, and labor legislation.
• Valid driver’s license C and/or B1.
• Experience handling both unionized and non‑unionized personnel.

Required skills

• ISO 19011, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
• OHSAS 18001, BHM, FSSC 22000, KORE safety requirements.
• Risk management and safety administration tools.
• Fleet management and logistics basics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
