Full Stack Developer (Elixir/Phoenix + Ruby on Rails) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for experienced full‑stack engineers to join its talent network and work on project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. The position is fully remote, focused on Latin America, and requires daily collaboration with client designers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client teams and contribute to the development of customer‑facing web applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain features using Elixir/Phoenix and/or Ruby on Rails.
• Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines and Docker environments.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver on sprint commitments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong experience with Elixir/Phoenix and/or Ruby on Rails.
• Front‑end expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and Ecto.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and remote development environments (e.g., GitHub Codespaces).
• Background in eCommerce applications and large, complex systems.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve difficult technical problems.
