About the role

Cargill is seeking a full‑time Production Operator I for its Guatemala City facility. The role involves operating production machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring product quality while adhering to safety and HACCP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food processing equipment according to production schedules.
• Perform daily tasks for various food products, including loading, transporting, and packaging.
• Execute basic cutting, peeling, and handling of raw materials.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in optimal condition.
• Support teammates in following safety rules, critical tasks, and HACCP procedures.
• Carry out any additional production duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Completed primary education (or higher).
• Fluent reading and writing in Spanish.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable working in environments with noise, dust, or chemicals.

Required skills

• Machinery operation.
