Remote Accountant – Hospitality Focus

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to support its portfolio of hospitality clients. This fully remote position serves Latin America and involves daily accounting tasks, month‑end close, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across multiple hotel properties.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities, prepare journal entries, and support month‑end close to meet client deadlines.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity by cleaning up and reconciling accounts.
• Master client‑specific hospitality platforms, ERP tools, and reporting structures for independent execution.
• Deliver consistent, accurate service in line with standardized processes and stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, property management, or outsourced accounting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close cycles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with internal and client teams.
