Senior DevOps / Cloud Architect (Kubernetes)

About the role

Pulster.ai is looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Architect to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of its data‑driven applications on Amazon EKS. You will work closely with data and infrastructure teams, focusing on automated deployments, cluster scalability, security, and support for analytical workloads such as Airflow, Spark, and Dagster.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Kubernetes manifests, namespaces, network policies, and workload lifecycles on Amazon EKS.
• Maintain and evolve continuous delivery pipelines using GitOps principles (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Deploy, configure, and optimize data processing components (Apache Airflow, Spark Operator, Dagster) on Kubernetes.
• Implement efficient node and pod auto‑scaling (Karpenter, AWS Load Balancer Controller) and cost‑optimization strategies.
• Monitor cluster health (metrics, logs, traces) with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/CloudWatch and resolve Level 2/3 incidents.
• Enforce security best practices: RBAC, NetworkPolicies, AWS IRSA, Cert‑Manager.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and container runtimes (Docker, containerd).

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on DevOps/Cloud experience, primarily on production EKS environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Native Spanish speaker with technical English proficiency (B2 or higher) for documentation and communication.
• Strong analytical mindset, troubleshooting skills, and clear documentation habits.
