About the role

BDO Guatemala is seeking a Senior Lawyer to strengthen its legal team. The professional will focus on labor, compliance and procedural matters, leading legal projects and ensuring high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage legal projects across labor, compliance and procedural domains.
• Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external clients.
• Supervise and mentor junior legal staff.
• Support internal processes to achieve compliance with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Law degree with active attorney and notary registration.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Guatemalan legislation covering compliance, civil/mercantile/administrative procedural law, and individual/collective labor law.
• Proven ability to direct projects and provide client-focused service.
• Intermediate English proficiency; a master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
