About the role

BDO Guatemala, a member of a leading global audit and consulting network, is seeking a Senior Lawyer and Notary to join its local team. The professional will support corporate and labor law matters for the firm’s clients across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute legal projects in corporate and individual/collective labor law.
• Provide advisory services to internal and external clients, ensuring compliance with Guatemalan legislation.
• Manage notarial procedures and maintain the required protocol.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Law degree with an active professional license as Lawyer and Notary.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Guatemalan corporate and labor law.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver high‑quality client service.
• English proficiency at B1–B2 level; a master’s degree in corporate or labor law is a plus.
