About the role

The Digital Defense and SOC Technical Analyst I is responsible for early detection and timely handling of security events within a financial group. The role involves continuous monitoring, initial alert management, and proper escalation based on incident criticality, while also supporting threat analysis and operational intelligence generation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events continuously and manage alerts in real time.
• Perform initial analysis, containment, and escalation of security incidents.
• Support threat intelligence activities and produce operational insights.
• Collaborate with senior teams to ensure proper incident follow‑up and documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Technologies or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in comprehensive cybersecurity management, including security monitoring and incident response.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIEM platforms.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, and NIST CSF.
• Experience handling Indicators of Compromise (IoC).
