About the role

SBA Communications is looking for a Construction Project Assistant to support the delivery of telecom tower construction projects in Guatemala. The role provides administrative and coordination support to Project Managers, ensuring smooth project execution and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks related to tower construction projects.
• Prepare reports, closure packages, proposals, summaries, and correspondence for internal and client communication.
• Support project set‑up with control and accounting teams and maintain project dashboards and databases.
• Participate in billing, payment processing, and accounts receivable activities.
• Update project schedules, timelines, and change‑order processes while tracking budgets.
• Verify documentation accuracy, organize files, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare RFPs for materials and subcontractors and collaborate with the purchasing team on site requisitions.
• Assist accounting in resolving invoice and purchase‑order issues and contribute to digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; students or graduates in civil engineering, architecture, or related fields are preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or administration.
• Willingness to travel within Guatemala.
• Valid driver’s license.
