Auxiliar de Despacho en Zacapa

About the role

The Dispatch Assistant supports the daily flow of incoming and outgoing shipments at Cargill's Zacapa facility. This permanent, onsite position works on a mixed day shift and follows established policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review and complete internal records, including temperature logs, and enter data into computer systems.
• Support cyclical inventory counts and report results.
• Load and unload merchandise, baskets, and vehicle pallets.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the assigned area.
• Follow all safety policies, equipment lockout procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with a complete high‑school diploma.
• Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
• Physical capability to bend, climb stairs, kneel, squat, twist safely and lift up to 25 kg.
• Comfort working in indoor and outdoor conditions ranging from 4 °C to –11 °C.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
