Bilingual Front Office Agent (English/Spanish) – Telehealth Nutrition

About the role

Our client, a growing telehealth nutrition practice, is looking for a bilingual Front Office Agent to provide seamless patient support, manage scheduling, and handle administrative duties in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with patients via phone, text, and approved channels.
• Confirm, remind, and provide telehealth instructions for appointments.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments following established procedures.
• Coordinate patient appointments with Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) and allocate patients based on availability.
• Monitor schedules, relay changes promptly, and connect patients to the appropriate video/telehealth platform.
• Verify insurance eligibility, communicate coverage details, and process patient payments securely.
• Check patients in/out, update demographic and administrative information, and maintain accurate records.
• Create and submit required documentation for patient visits.
• Collaborate with RDNs, appointment setters, eligibility, back‑office, and supervisors.
• Follow workflows, policies, and procedures, and escalate operational issues when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in administrative, medical office, healthcare, or customer service roles.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
