Customer Service Agent – Cargo Signal (4PM‑1AM)

About the role

As a Customer Service Agent for Cargo Signal, you will be the first point of contact for Expeditors’ global customers, handling inquiries and orders through email, chat and phone. Working on a 4 PM – 1 AM shift, you will support the launch of Cargo Signal operations in Latin America and collaborate with a worldwide Command Center team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders, answer questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain and update shipment tracking data in the Cargo Signal platform.
• Create route plans using web‑based mapping tools and configure GPS tracking devices.
• Provide 24/7 monitoring support in coordination with teams in North America, Europe and Asia.
• Assist in expanding Cargo Signal services across Latin America.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory).
• Excellent typing speed with high accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with a proven ability to solve problems quickly.
• Organised, able to prioritize a high volume of emails and data entry tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Logistics experience (air, ocean, trucking, distribution or risk management) is a plus.
• Positive, helpful attitude and alignment with Expeditors’ cultural values.
