International Real Estate Development Manager

About the role

The International Real Estate Development Manager will lead Wendy's restaurant expansion across the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) region. Working closely with franchisees, you will guide the full development cycle—from market planning and site evaluation to final approvals—ensuring alignment with cross‑functional teams and corporate growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clear development pipeline, track milestones, and report progress in regional meetings.
• Partner with franchisees through market visits, calls, and business reviews to enforce Wendy's Global Development Policies.
• Lead market mapping, identify Potential Trade Areas, and build market plans in collaboration with the Development Director.
• Coordinate with Construction, Design, and Operations to manage lease execution, design, construction, turnover, and opening phases.
• Secure new site approvals, store openings, and closure approvals via Wendy's International CapCom process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate real‑estate environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching abilities.
• Experience working in or with Latin American markets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using GIS tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle and other database systems.
