Legal Internship – Digitalization & Files

About the role

Join Banco LAFISE Guatemala as a Legal Intern and support the strategic digital transformation of client files. This project‑based internship is ideal for final‑year law students or recent graduates who want hands‑on experience in the financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Review, organize and classify legal documentation and client histories.
• Create and structure new digital files according to the bank’s regulatory policies and standards.
• Execute the orderly migration of physical files to the new institutional management system.
• Verify the integrity, consistency and accuracy of transferred information.
• Monitor and report progress on the assigned file inventory.

Required profile

• Student in the final year of a Law degree or a recent graduate.
• High attention to detail and strong document‑organization skills.
• Proficient with standard computer tools and quick to learn new digital systems.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Ability to issue invoices under a services‑contract (facturación).
