About the role
We are looking for a Monitor of Occupational Health and Safety (SSO) to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations across client sites and company locations. The role involves regular site inspections, risk assessment, and promoting a safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular site tours to verify adherence to established SSO policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain risk matrices and occupational risk management plans.
- Investigate incidents and produce accident reports as needed.
- Manage the procurement and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Deliver safety and health training sessions to staff.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar safety or occupational health role.
- Strong knowledge of current SSO regulations.
- Valid SSO certification.
- Willingness to travel within the country.
