About the role

The Support Services Officer will provide financial and supply‑chain support to the “Building Climate Resilience from Indigenous Perspectives (BCRIP)” project, ensuring efficient, transparent management aligned with institutional and donor requirements. The position is based in Guatemala City, works in a hybrid mode, and requires 50% travel to project sites in Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez and Quetzaltenango.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial administration, budgeting, and reporting for the BCRIP project.
• Manage procurement processes, logistics and supply‑chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with Save the Children safeguarding policies, including child protection and Level 2 data access requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers and donors to align financial and logistical plans with project objectives.
• Conduct regular travel to field locations (approximately 50% of time) to monitor implementation and support local teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with institutional and donor standards.

Required profile

• Ability to travel regularly to field sites in Guatemala and Colombia.
• Willingness to undergo criminal background check and comply with child safeguarding policies (Level 2).
• Experience in financial administration and supply‑chain support within humanitarian or development projects.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
