Perception Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Perception Engineer you will design and implement state‑of‑the‑art computer‑vision systems that enable machines to understand their surroundings. You will build production‑grade machine‑learning models for object detection, segmentation and classification, ensuring they perform reliably in real‑world conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise deep‑learning models for computer‑vision tasks using PyTorch and OpenCV.
• Design robust pipelines for real‑time object detection, image segmentation and classification.
• Implement training, optimisation and GPU‑acceleration strategies to improve performance and accuracy.
• Deploy vision models on edge devices and production environments in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Continuously refine perception algorithms to handle diverse and dynamic environmental conditions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning or computer vision.
• Proven track record developing computer‑vision models for detection, segmentation and classification.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep‑learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
