Senior DevOps Engineer – Databricks (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specialized in Databricks to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis across Latin America. You will work closely with designers and engineers to operationalize data platforms, automate workflows, and ensure reliable, cost‑effective cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Databricks environments on AWS for enterprise workloads.
• Automate Databricks jobs, clusters, and serving endpoints using REST APIs and IaC.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines across multiple repositories.
• Implement code quality, security checks, and SDLC guardrails (branch protection, code ownership, secret management).
• Manage Unity Catalog access controls, data lineage, and AWS IAM permissions.
• Design monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for data platforms.
• Contribute to reusable libraries and troubleshoot complex platform issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven track record delivering scalable, reliable, and cost‑efficient data platform architectures.
