About the role

Ecolab Food & Beverage is looking for an entry‑level Service Technician to support food, beverage and dairy manufacturers. The role blends technical service, equipment installation and repair with sales‑focused consulting to help customers improve safety, product quality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct service‑strategy surveys, process checks and reporting for client sites.
• Consult customers on chemical, technical and application issues and recommend system optimisations.
• Perform field tests, generate reports and deliver on‑site training.
• Establish, verify and document hygiene plans and parameters during regular visits.
• Install, maintain and repair processing equipment at client facilities.
• Support the rollout of new service programmes and concepts.
• Achieve monthly safety metrics and record safety data in the company system.
• Identify and implement improvements to service delivery.
• Provide recommendations aligned with safety standards and protocols.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a technical service role.
• Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable motor‑vehicle record.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull or transport up to the weight specified by the employer.
• Comfort working in confined spaces, freezing or hot environments.
• Capability to perform essential duties such as crouching, kneeling, reaching, balancing, walking and standing.
• Ability to pass a drug test and a physical examination.
• Desirable: knowledge or aptitude in electrical and mechanical systems; a two‑year technical degree.
