QA Analyst – Functional & Regression Testing

About the role

We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our team and ensure the quality of our software products through functional and regression testing. The role involves working with databases, APIs, and modern testing tools while collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct functional and regression testing of web applications.
• Write and execute intermediate to advanced SQL queries on MariaDB/MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
• Test REST and GraphQL APIs and validate responses.
• Utilize Browser DevTools (Console, Network, Application) for debugging and analysis.
• Manage test cases and defects using JIRA or similar tools.
• Perform API testing with Postman or Insomnia (preferred).
• Develop automated test scripts using Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks (preferred).
• Collaborate with the team to communicate findings and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Third year of a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency: 50% spoken, 80% written.
