About the role

We are seeking a qualified Contract Management Lawyer to join our legal department in Guatemala City. The professional will be responsible for overseeing contract execution, verification and control, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and advise on the execution, verification and control of contract management processes for EPM companies in Guatemala.
• Ensure all activities comply with current regulations, legislation and internal norms.
• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks associated with contracts and consultancy services.
• Draft, review and archive legal instruments, including civil, commercial and notarial documents.
• Participate in procurement, licensing and notarial procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in Law (Abogado) and Notary.
• Preferably a postgraduate degree in Commercial or Corporate Law.
• Minimum five years of professional experience, at least four years in positions requiring a legal title.
• Experience in civil, commercial and notarial law.
• Basic proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Office 365.

What we offer

• Base salary of Q16,718 per month.
• Monthly decree bonus of Q1,125.
• Annual total compensation of approximately Q280,988, including bonuses, two aguinaldos and vacation bonus.
• Permanent employment contract.
