Account Executive – Sales

About the role

FedEx is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth by selling the full portfolio of FedEx products and services to existing and prospective customers within a defined geographic territory. The role combines direct sales, lead generation, and territory management to achieve incremental revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sell all FedEx products and services to current customers and acquire new business in the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a lead‑generation process leveraging couriers, station staff, and other FedEx resources.
• Create and follow a sales work plan that includes calls, proposals, presentations, and travel activities.
• Maintain a territory intelligence system to record sales activities, account data, market insights, and competitive information.
• Coordinate with station employees to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of professional, commercial, or industrial sales experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self‑motivated with strong planning, organization, and prioritization abilities.
• Effective negotiation and presentation skills for both small and large groups.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Computer literate.
