Analista Senior de Ciberseguridad

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will protect the bank’s digital assets by monitoring, evaluating, and mitigating technology and security risks. The role operates within international regulatory frameworks and a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events and incidents in the SOC.
• Assess and prioritize technological risks affecting the bank.
• Implement mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with international security standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with IT and risk management teams to improve security posture.

Required profile

• Degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Technician or Analyst in SOC and technology risk management.
• Mandatory ITIL certification.
• Knowledge of ISO cybersecurity standards.
• Familiarity with agile Scrum methodology.
• Minimum English proficiency at A1 level.

What we offer

• Salary between Q12,000 and Q15,000 per month, based on experience.
• 14 monthly salaries per year plus extraordinary bonuses.
• Hybrid work mode.
• Work schedule: Monday‑Thursday 8 am‑6 pm, Friday 8 am‑5 pm.
• Location: Zone 9, Ciudad de Guatemala.
