AWS Developer – AI Agents & Workflow Orchestration

About the role

We are building model‑orchestrated AI agents on AWS to power our operations, with a governance layer on top and domain agents underneath. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing both fully automated and human‑in‑the‑loop AI workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents and workflows in our AWS environment.
• Author agent skills (prompts + scoped tools) for each domain.
• Create both fully automated pipelines and human‑in‑the‑loop tasks (agent draft → human review → execution).
• Implement tool integrations, guardrails, scoped access, review gates, and kill‑switches.
• Ship clean, documented, testable builds through our CI pipeline.
• Operate multiple AI coding/agent sessions simultaneously to accelerate delivery.
• Break larger projects into parallel workstreams, delegate to agents, review output, resolve conflicts, and integrate the final product.

Required profile

• Strong AWS experience (ECS Fargate, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, CodePipeline).
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or comparable LLM/agent frameworks.
• Proven track record building LLM agents or tool‑using workflows in production.
• Experience integrating third‑party REST APIs and webhooks.
• Reliable overlap with US working hours (Eastern to Pacific) for huddles and reviews.
• Ability to start immediately and work with strong judgment, testing discipline, and attention to detail.
