Backend Developer – Support (Hybrid, Guatemala)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer focused on production support. You will ensure the continuous operation of our backend services, work closely with frontend, QA and infrastructure teams, and help maintain high availability, performance, and stability of critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyze and resolve production incidents and errors.
• Implement hot‑fixes and minor improvements based on client reports or internal analysis.
• Create and maintain technical support sheets documenting causes, actions and solutions.
• Apply best practices for version control, support branches and CI/CD pipelines.
• Assess the impact of changes on services, dependencies and infrastructure.
• Propose preventive actions to improve efficiency, security and performance.
• Ensure technical documentation follows company guidelines.
• Participate in technical meetings and code reviews.
• Develop and deploy solutions derived from support tickets, guaranteeing validation and operational continuity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in backend development and production support.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve complex problems in high‑availability, critical environments.
• Willingness to work on‑site two days per fortnight (hybrid model).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Git and continuous integration.
