Contador Junior – Subcontador con experiencia

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Zona 18. The role combines hands‑on accounting work with the supervision of a small team, offering a solid foundation in financial reporting and tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting integrations and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including tax filing.
• Execute tax‑related tasks on the SAT platform.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of five collaborators.
• Generate accounting reports and monitor ongoing financial processes.

Required profile

• Registered Accountant (Perito Contador) or a graduate in Public Accounting and Auditing.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting and tax functions.
• Proven leadership experience with prior personnel management.
• Availability to work in Zona 18, Guatemala City.

• Salary range Q6,000 – Q8,000 per month, based on experience.
