Coordinador de Mentores en Escuintla

About the role

The Mentor Coordinator will lead and empower a network of volunteers who mentor at‑risk adolescents in the Escuintla region. This Christian‑based position blends community outreach, youth development, and faith‑centered mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Support, train, and supervise mentors.
• Visit communities and provide tools to impact adolescents.
• Organize the local football league (twice a month).
• Coordinate three Mentor Retreats per year.
• Assist with virtual mentor workshops and school sessions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly mentor reports.
• Participate in additional activities such as camps, community visits, and missions.
• Refer cases to the social work department.

Required profile

• Resident of Escuintla or nearby areas (mandatory).
• Committed Christian with a strong testimony of faith and a pastor’s reference letter.
• University studies in social work, related fields, or proven experience in NGOs or adolescent work.
• Passion for serving at‑risk youth.
• Clear criminal, police, and RENAS records.
• Knowledge of football (required).
• Desirable: bilingual English‑Spanish proficiency.
