About the role

PIEGATTO is looking for a versatile designer who can blend product design, architecture and graphic design to create new furniture collections for the American and European markets. The role involves turning aesthetic concepts into manufacturable pieces while maintaining brand identity.

Key responsibilities

• Design new furniture lines (tables, chairs, credenzas, lighting, decorative pieces) and develop technical drawings, photorealistic renders and prototypes.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, hardware and viable manufacturing processes.
• Monitor carpentry and upholstery production to ensure prototypes match design intent.
• Research interior design and furniture trends in Europe, the US and LATAM and analyse high‑end competition.
• Propose two to three new collections per year aligned with PIEGATTO’s identity.
• Create high‑quality technical sheets, product catalogs and showroom materials.
• Support marketing with 3D visuals, moodboards and client presentations.
• Optimize designs for production cost without compromising concept.
• Document dimensions, exploded views and assembly manuals.

Required profile

• Architect, Graphic Designer or Product Designer with at least three years of proven furniture product design experience.
• Digital portfolio required.
• Strong understanding of ergonomics, proportions, composition, colour and current trends.
• Experience with high‑end or author‑designed brands is desirable.
• Ability to work proactively from concept to final product and collaborate with carpentry, upholstery, sales and marketing teams.
