Dynatrace Platform Engineer

About the role

Rhondos Inc. is seeking a Dynatrace Platform Engineer for Latin America to join its Professional Services Team. In this client‑facing position you will configure and optimise the Dynatrace Unified Observability Platform across cloud, hybrid and on‑premises environments, focusing on SAP observability and reducing mean time to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PowerConnect App implementation, configuration and customisation to extend observability into SAP environments.
• Onboard applications, infrastructure and cloud workloads (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker) for full‑stack monitoring.
• Design, build and maintain custom dashboards, alerting profiles, workflows and analytics using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Grail.
• Monitor application performance, conduct root‑cause analysis and leverage Davis AI insights.
• Configure Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring, APM and Log Monitoring to close observability gaps.
• Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira and Slack.
• Support OpenTelemetry and distributed‑tracing initiatives across micro‑services architectures.
• Deliver health assessments, architecture reviews and actionable best‑practice recommendations.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in Application Performance Management, observability or related IT infrastructure roles.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience implementing and administering Dynatrace or comparable APM tools.

• Dynatrace platform, PowerConnect App and SAP observability.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Programming/scripting languages: Java.NET, Python, JavaScript.
• Dynatrace Query Language (DQL), Grail, OpenTelemetry, Davis AI.
• ITSM integration tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Slack.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
