Ejecutivo/a de venta de campo – Expansión comercial

About the role

The company, a manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a proactive Field Sales Executive to drive commercial expansion across Guatemala City and surrounding municipalities. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a client portfolio, and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new customers through cold calling and field visits.
• Conduct sales routes, present product portfolios, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Maintain ongoing relationships, follow up on orders, and encourage repeat purchases.
• Achieve monthly sales quotas and grow the customer base.
• Identify new market zones and opportunities for expansion.
• Keep client information up‑to‑date and generate regular commercial reports.

Required profile

• Completed high school; university studies in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related fields are a plus.
• 1‑2 years of experience in field sales, cold prospecting, and client acquisition.
• Experience in fast‑moving consumer goods, distribution, food service, or physical products is desirable.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Dynamic, proactive, resilient to rejection, and goal‑oriented.
• Own vehicle and willingness to travel extensively.
