Finance & Accounting Specialist – Credit Risk & Order Management

About the role

Genpact is seeking a Finance & Accounting Specialist to assess credit risk, manage order releases, and support commercial teams in Guatemala. You will analyze financial statements, credit histories, and payment behavior to recommend credit limits and payment terms for corporate customers.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate creditworthiness of companies by reviewing financial statements, credit history, and payment behavior.
• Determine whether ERP‑held orders can be released and advise sales teams on holds and next steps.
• Perform workflow approval checks to ensure order and billing data alignment.
• Conduct timely credit risk analysis for prospects and existing customers, compiling risk scores, AR exposure, SWOT analysis, and industry performance.
• Communicate credit findings and mitigation plans to business stakeholders.
• Maintain high data quality for credit risk models and external reporting.
• Monitor portfolio exposure, identify high‑risk accounts, and develop mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field; Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, CTP, FMVA, or Accounts Payable Certification.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
