Finance & Treasury Analyst (Guatemala)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance and Treasury Analyst to join our head‑office team supporting operations in Guatemala. The role focuses on external and internal accounts payable, monthly compliance reporting and process improvement within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with regional areas to gather data for vendor payments.
• Analyze large data sets and post regional transactions in the Workday ERP system.
• Reconcile Workday transactions to ensure payment accuracy and compliance with internal and external controls.
• Resolve open issues with external contacts and internal personnel.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and support internal and external auditors.
• Set up and maintain payables rules in the system.
• Identify and address issues affecting financial reporting.
• Reconcile differences between the payables sub‑ledger and the general ledger.
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounts payable records.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple deliverables.
• Schedule flexibility and availability to work on‑site.
• English proficiency at B2 level (oral and written).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Google Sheets.
• Working knowledge of Workday ERP.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
