AGEXPORT, the leading institution for export promotion and business development in Guatemala, is seeking a Gerente de Mercadeo to lead the design and execution of its comprehensive marketing strategy. The role focuses on strengthening brand positioning, governing the product and service portfolio, and driving growth for member companies through data‑driven, innovative, and market‑trend‑focused initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a brand positioning strategy aligned with institutional objectives.
• Lead strategic management of the product and service portfolio, ensuring clear value propositions and differentiation.
• Develop and execute digital marketing and multichannel communication plans to generate demand and enhance brand visibility.
• Create and apply customer experience (CX) measurement models to continuously improve satisfaction.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the marketing team, setting clear objectives, performance metrics, and result tracking.
• Prepare and manage the department budget, ensuring efficiency and ROI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, MBA, or a related specialization (mandatory).
• Minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in brand management, digital marketing, portfolio management, and customer experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Preferable experience in institutional, trade‑association, or service environments.
