Global Procurement Manager

About the role

Teamswell is seeking an experienced Global Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement of plastic raw materials, recycled polymers, scrap, and related commodities across multiple regions. The role will support the India sales team, manage supplier relationships, and drive commercial performance in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source plastic raw materials, recycled polymers, scrap, and related commodities across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
• Partner with the India sales team to understand demand and secure volume through global suppliers.
• Identify, build, and maintain long‑term supplier accounts via outreach calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
• Coordinate with the global trading team and international sourcing partners across time zones.
• Monitor global pricing trends and track sourcing pipelines using CRM tools.
• Drive metrics such as container volume, demand fulfillment rate, new supplier acquisition, recurring supply, and gross‑profit contribution.

Required profile

• Proven background in international procurement, commodity trading, polymers, plastics recycling, petrochemicals, scrap, or paper.
• Demonstrated experience conducting regular supplier outreach and managing international accounts.
• Ability to adapt working hours to coordinate with suppliers and teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Strong commercial and negotiation instincts, self‑driven ownership, and problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
