Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through impeccable cleanliness and visual standards onboard. This leader ensures premium service execution, maintains high‑quality standards, and fosters a positive work environment for the housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all housekeeping operations to guarantee spotless cabins, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Implement and monitor safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with company and Royal Caribbean guidelines.
• Train, coach, and recognize supervisors and crew members, maintaining a strong floor presence.
• Manage talent assessment, performance expectations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years progressive housekeeping managerial experience, preferably in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures, and HR policies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision‑making abilities.
