IT Product Support Engineer

About the role

Ericsson is seeking an IT Product Support Engineer to join its customer‑facing team. The role involves delivering on‑site and remote support for telecom products, ensuring successful installation, configuration, and ongoing production support for client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and deploy telecom products at customer sites or remotely.
• Implement new requirements and provide production support for existing solutions.
• Gather requirements, design solutions and assist in planning phases.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and business analysts to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, with strong troubleshooting and problem‑resolution skills.
• Hands‑on experience in 2nd and 3rd level support of complex products and installations.
• College degree in Computing, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel abroad and work with remote teams.

Required skills

• Relational databases – preferably Oracle 12.
• Application servers – WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, IIS.
• Operating systems – Microsoft Windows Server, Unix/Linux.
• Web services – REST and SOAP.
• Programming – JavaScript.
• Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban.
• Container and cloud tools – OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Additional programming – Java, Bash, Python.
• Automation – Selenium, RPA.
• ITIL framework knowledge.
