L1 Network Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated L1 Network Support Engineer to provide first‑line monitoring and incident response for our enterprise network. The role offers exposure to Cisco, Azure, SD‑WAN and security technologies, and the chance to work in a 24x7 NOC environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, firewall, wireless and cloud connectivity 24x7.
• Log, classify and respond to network alerts, performing initial troubleshooting on Cisco Catalyst 9300 switches and wireless devices.
• Conduct basic health checks on Silver Peak (Aruba EdgeConnect) SD‑WAN and Cisco FTD firewalls.
• Support Azure network services, including VNet, VPN and NVA monitoring.
• Assist with branch site provisioning, MDF/IDF installation and coordination with ISPs and field engineers.
• Manage incidents, service requests and change tickets following ITIL processes and SLA requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in network support or NOC operations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching fundamentals.
• CCNA certification (completed or in progress) and solid communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and take ownership of network health.
