Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator ensures the smooth flow of goods from overseas suppliers to final delivery, acting as the central hub between suppliers, freight forwarders, drayage providers, and internal teams. The role requires strong organisational abilities and clear communication across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day logistics and transportation operations in line with client requirements, SLAs and internal procedures.
• Coordinate purchase orders, cargo readiness, ocean freight bookings, and container deliveries.
• Monitor shipments, loads and operational milestones throughout the logistics lifecycle.
• Track and document shipment activity, operational updates and financial data in internal systems such as TMS, ERP, CRM or NetSuite.
• Identify and escalate operational, documentation or financial discrepancies according to guidelines.
• Assist with customer‑facing and carrier‑facing communications regarding status, billing or payment inquiries.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in structured, process‑driven environments.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience with operational systems such as NetSuite, TMS, ERP or CRM platforms.
