Logistics Manager

About the role

PedidosYa, a leading delivery and quick‑commerce platform in Latin America, is looking for a Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations and strategy in Guatemala. You will be responsible for improving delivery efficiency across more than 12 cities while ensuring a great experience for both users and couriers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition, retention and experience strategy for couriers, designing competitive value propositions.
• Plan, manage and control the annual and monthly logistics operating budget, including delivery costs, equipment and uncollectible prevention.
• Monitor daily KPIs such as CPO, delivery times, failure rates and service levels to maintain operational efficiency.
• Act as the main liaison with local and regional teams to resolve operational incidents and drive continuous process improvement.
• Analyze labor market and industry trends to anticipate fleet needs and develop data‑driven incentive plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field (mandatory).
• At least three years of proven experience in management or operational coordination roles (mandatory).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and solid SQL skills for data‑based decision making (mandatory).
• Previous experience leading and developing teams.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
