Principal Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our enterprise infrastructure and hosting services. This hands‑on technical leadership position is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex problems, driving automation, and mentoring a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support Linux and Windows server environments and hosted services.
• Troubleshoot full‑stack infrastructure issues, including networking, authentication, SSL, traffic management and application environments.
• Drive automation, configuration management and continuous infrastructure improvement.
• Maintain cloud, virtualization, container and SaaS platforms.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning, capacity forecasting, security and compliance initiatives.
• Lead infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and third‑party providers to build reliable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the organization.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of hands‑on infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise in servers, networking, virtualization and cloud environments.
• Proven track record of leading complex infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, RHCSA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
