Profesor/a de Biología Bilingüe

About the role

The International SEK School in Guatemala is looking for a bilingual Biology teacher for secondary education. The position is full‑time, onsite, and involves delivering lessons in both Spanish and English.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess biology classes in Spanish and English.
• Design teaching units, laboratory activities and science projects that promote critical thinking.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to coordinate curriculum content and monitor student progress.
• Communicate regularly with families about student performance.
• Participate in pedagogical meetings, internal training and extracurricular science‑related activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher certification with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of biology and ability to adapt content for different learning levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English (minimum B2‑C1 level).
• Basic proficiency with digital educational tools and a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
