Regulatory Associate

About the role

World Business Lenders (WBL) is seeking a Regulatory Associate to support regulatory research, change management, licensing, filings, disclosures, examinations, and reporting. The role ensures that all regulatory obligations affecting the company’s lending, servicing, and corporate activities are accurately tracked and implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Research federal and state regulatory requirements, monitor legal developments, and prepare clear summaries with recommended actions.
• Maintain licensing, registration, renewal, filing, and reporting calendars; coordinate preparation of applications, renewals, and reports.
• Support regulatory examinations by organizing requests, evidence, drafts, approvals, and deadlines.
• Assist with regulatory reviews of new products, processes, vendors, and jurisdictional expansions, identifying gaps and supporting policy updates.
• Prepare status reports, track deadlines, and maintain audit‑ready records of all regulatory activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, legal studies, compliance, finance, business, public policy, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal research, licensing, risk, audit, or financial‑services operations.
