Sales Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead and grow a fully remote team of Account Executives. The role oversees day‑to‑day inbound sales operations, trains and mentors the AE team, implements new sales campaigns, audits calls, and ensures accurate CRM management. The Sales Manager is fully accountable for meeting revenue, conversion, and activity targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own AE performance management, including scorecards, call coaching, reviews, and development plans.
• Set individual goals for each AE and hold the team accountable to revenue, conversion, pipeline, activity, and CRM standards.
• Train, mentor, and grow the AE team, turning top‑performer behaviors into repeatable best practices.
• Approve PTO requests, manage scheduling, and ensure proper coverage of inbound sales personnel.
• Own inbound sales revenue targets, diagnose performance gaps, and create action plans to hit monthly and quarterly goals.
• Run daily and weekly sales operating rhythms: performance reviews, pipeline reviews, call audits, coaching sessions, and conversion analysis.
• Collaborate with marketing and outbound teams to launch promotions, campaigns, and product rollouts, ensuring AEs are trained and accountable for follow‑up.
• Analyze campaign performance and provide strategic input on lead qualification and promotion effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and scaling a remote sales team of Account Executives.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify performance blockers and implement corrective actions.
• Hands‑on leader who can step into strategic calls and large accounts when needed.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop talent and enforce best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate CRM data, and meet aggressive revenue targets.
