Senior Backend Engineer – Backend Services & Salesforce Integration

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust backend services and automation workflows that power our GTM data platform and AI‑assisted sales automation tools. You will work in an Agile sprint environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality REST APIs and Salesforce integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java or Python microservices supporting data ingestion and processing.
• Design, implement, and document REST APIs and webhook‑based lead routing systems.
• Integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules) and support AI SDR automation workflows.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase and ensure code quality through code reviews.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage tasks in JIRA, and deliver within sprint timelines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and webhook integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce platform development or API integration.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery processes and JIRA.
• Upper‑intermediate proficiency in English.
