Senior Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer (Oracle)

About the role

Martinexsa is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle technologies to lead the technical integration of a strategic initiative across the LATAM region. The role covers the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to semantic layer design on Oracle Exadata and analytical consumption via Power BI Service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and governance of end‑to‑end enterprise data architecture ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines that ingest data from Oracle transactional sources into analytical repositories.
• Design and implement semantic data layers on Oracle Exadata and Power BI Service, optimizing business logic and response times.
• Oversee the creation of tabular data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI.
• Coordinate hybrid technology integration between Oracle (Exadata) and other platforms such as Snowflake.
• Continuously identify and implement performance optimizations, query tuning, and new data source enablement.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of data engineering/architecture experience, with at least 3 years in senior or lead roles.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end data projects from source analysis through to final reporting.
• Strong expertise in Oracle ecosystem, especially Oracle Exadata.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI Service, including semantic modeling, workspace administration, DAX, and visual layer creation.
