Senior Java Engineer – AI-driven SEO & Backend Services

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to design and launch high‑impact page architectures that counter AI‑driven SEO disruptions for a large‑scale job search platform. You will build backend services with Java and Spring, work with relational databases and Snowflake, and shape conversion funnels that drive organic traffic and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic response to AI‑driven SEO changes, creating page architectures that protect and improve organic rankings.
• Develop and launch backend services using Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with data teams across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake to support traffic‑recovery initiatives.
• Architect and optimise high‑revenue conversion funnels aligned with business growth goals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of production‑level Java experience.
• Strong expertise with the Spring framework.
• Proven experience designing and developing APIs.
• Hands‑on work with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and React.
• Familiarity with MVC patterns and dependency injection.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
