Senior QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep JavaScript expertise to own and expand automated testing across multiple web products. You will drive browser‑based test coverage, ensure accessibility and performance standards, and keep our test assets organized and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend Cypress automation suites for several products.
• Introduce and expand Playwright test coverage for new features.
• Design and execute test scenarios for authentication flows, token handling, session management, and identity edge cases.
• Run regression, integration, and exploratory testing each sprint.
• Perform accessibility checks with axe‑core and report WCAG 2.1 AA findings.
• Execute Lighthouse CI performance checks and flag regressions.
• Create, maintain, and organize test cases in TestRail.
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps and environment details.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to validate testable acceptance criteria.
• Align pod‑level QA practices with the broader test strategy.
• Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, test data, and assist defect triage.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Cypress automation experience.
• 3+ years of Playwright testing experience.
• Senior‑level ownership of automation quality across products.
• 3+ years of experience designing test strategies for regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Strong defect documentation skills with clear reproduction steps.
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper‑Intermediate) level.
