Supervisor, Transaction Processing

About the role

The Reconcilement Department for PNC Bank needs a Supervisor to oversee daily transaction processing and account reconciliation. You will ensure that all internal accounts are reconciled on schedule, monitor workflow, and lead a team to meet client deadlines while preventing potential losses.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain workflow by monitoring each step of the reconciliation process and setting processing variables.
• Observe control points, equipment, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
• Implement cost‑reduction initiatives and develop reporting procedures and systems.
• Foster cooperation between departments and oversee functional and operational management.
• Track and maintain department productivity records.
• Recruit, orient, train, and develop staff, providing growth opportunities.
• Investigate issues, escalate when necessary, and ensure service levels meet client guidelines.
• Coach Team Leads to manage workflow and process flow effectively.
• Coordinate with onshore staff and handle administrative tasks such as overtime, vacation control, access requests, and required security courses.
• Participate in internal and external client meetings.
